Hi, I’m Carl Taylor, the owner of Taylored Dental Care.

I chose a career in dentistry after a scout camp believe it or not. The military had come down with their death slide. We were practising a parachute drop, but one of the buckles hadn’t been tied up properly and flew up in my face breaking my front tooth.

I trained to be a dentist in Leeds, starting in 1997. After graduating I studied for the diploma in Restorative Dentistry Royal College. In addition I trained to do dental sedation, several orthodontic systems and quite a few managerial courses.

I really like snowboarding, kite surfing and windsurfing. In fact I enjoy anything that involves any sort of water based activity.

Hi, I’m Rosina. I’ve been working at Taylored Dental Care in Wibsey since January 2017. I qualified from the University of Leeds Dental Institute in 2012 and went on to complete my vocational training in Sheffield followed by a year working in the Oral and Maxillofacial department in Leeds General Infirmary. I have since worked in general dental practice and have achieved the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery.

Aswell as routine dentistry I enjoy minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry and love helping my patients achieve a functional, healthy and beautiful smile. I have completed further training within restorative dentistry and discreet braces to keep up to date with the latest techniques.

I see many nervous patients in my role. I understand the fears associated with visiting the dentist and I enjoy taking the time to help my patients alleviate their anxieties.

I got married in July 2018 to my husband Liam and we spend most of our spare time walking our beagle Pedro who keeps us very entertained.

Hi my name is Becky, I have been a dental nurse for 7 years, I joined Taylored dental care in 2019.

I love interacting with our patients, being a part of their journey and helping them feel at ease whilst they are in the dental chair.

I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and my beautiful kitten Evie. I love football and have been a huge supporter of Arsenal since an early age!

Joe qualified from Leeds Dental Institute as a clinical dental technician and continued to do work for some of the UK’s best surgeons.

Through his constant passion for his work, he then enrolled in the prestigious Clinical dental course in Preston. Although he was one of the youngest to be accepted on the course, his determination and focus pushed him to be recognised as one of the youngest qualified clinical technicians in the UK. Being awarded a Diploma from The Royal College Of Surgeons Edinburgh.

Joe has a passion for the industry, his eye for detail and careful planning ensures only the best results, giving his patients peace of mind and great clinical results. He has clinics across the UK, helping patients wear a confident smile.

Joseph’s ambition is also his craft, creating lifelike smiles through dentures and implant supported prosthesis. Joe lives with his fiance Sara in Leeds, they have two children, Annabelle and Theo. In his spare time, he enjoys running and family walks.

Hello, I’m Sarah the Dental Hygienist and Therapist here at Taylored Dental Care. You may see myself for treatments such as gum treatments, fillings, whitening treatments, aesthetic dentistry and pediatric dentistry.

My dental career began 14 years ago as a nurse and I then qualified with a merit as a Therapist in 2012 at the University of Leeds. I thoroughly enjoy my profession and I have proudly won many awards for outstanding achievement throughout my training.

My main passion is to help my patients achieve a smile that they are truly proud of! I strive to always make a positive influence in their journeys, to get the best possible outcome for each individual patient. I also really love aesthetic dentistry and take great pleasure in completing white fillings and whitening treatments for my patients. The most satisfying aspect of my job is seeing someone’s confidence rocket, through the help and treatment they have received from ourselves!

A lot of my spare time is taken up looking after my lovable rogue of a Springer Spaniel Mylo, with whom there is never a dull moment. When I do have time I love to travel and visit beautiful cities, with Italy and Prague being some of my favorites.

Hello, My name is Amy McMahon and I am the Group Practice Manager at Taylored Dental Care. I first joined Taylored Dental Care in 2018 as our receptionist at the Wibsey practice and have thoroughly enjoyed my time getting to know all of the patients there and being a part of their dental journeys! I am now very lucky as I get to travel across all three sites so I can get to know all of our patients at each practice.

After a couple of years on reception I progressed to the position of head receptionist and was then asked to take the role of group practice manager. My favourite part of reception was going on a journey with our patients to see them overcome their fears and achieve a smile they’ve always dreamed of.

I am passionate about my new role and no two days are ever the same! From working alongside our lead nurse Becky, to ensure we stay compliant with all governing bodies, to the general running of the day to day business. I am very lucky to lead such a fantastic team who all get great satisfaction from helping our patients and making a difference to their lives, bringing back their confidence and giving them a smile they love!

Patient care and customer service is my passion.I want all of our patients to feel comfortable from the second they walk in the door or pick up the phone to call us, we genuinely do care about all of our patients! Outside of work my time is mostly spent with family and friends. I enjoy going out for food and drinks and visiting new places. I love the sun, so I’m at my happiest when i’m somewhere hot, preferably with a cocktail in my hand!

Hello my name is Jasmine and I am the Patient Care Co-ordinator here at Taylored Dental Care. I am originally from Leicestershire. I graduated from University with a BSc in Psychology and have decided to stay in Leeds as I love it so much.

I feel that my degree really helps me to understand patient’s dental anxieties and phobias, allowing me to work through patients’ fears to eliminate them.I look forward to coming to work everyday to speak to patients and enjoy following their journeys the most! I am the first point of contact for new patients and to be able to be there every step of the way is so rewarding. I love to see our pain free dentistry converting extremely anxious patients into patients who no longer fear the dentist. When I’m not at work I love to visit new places. I learnt to surf whilst at University so I often book surf weekends away at different places. I also love meeting new people so I go out most weekends with friends to socialise. Anything that involves socialising really and I’m there!

My name is Tia and I have worked for Taylored Dental Care for the last 7 years. Previously a Receptionist, I have more recently been assisting with the accounts for the business.

I live with my husband and we have two children. I love going on family days out and spending time with with my friends and family.
